Are you a hands-on electrical engineer ready to step up and lead a skilled team in a Monday to Friday role with great pay, long-term career prospects, and day-to-day variety?

This is a well-established and high-performing manufacturing site that forms part of a £70M international group. They supply advanced materials into critical sectors like aerospace, renewables, and healthcare, with a strong focus on investment, sustainability, and promoting from within.

As Lead Electrical Engineer, you'll oversee a small but experienced team, working closely with production and mechanical teams to keep the site running smoothly. The role is a mix of hands-on maintenance, team leadership, and improvement work focused on reliability, safety, and energy efficiency. You'll also take part in a 1 in 3 standby rota, with a weekly standby payment of £350.

This would suit a senior electrical engineer or team leader from a manufacturing or process industry background who enjoys being on the tools, leading by example, and wants a stable, long-term role with room to grow.

The Role

• Oversee the electrical maintenance team, diagnose breakdowns, carry out repairs, and improve equipment performance
• Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
• Salary £50,000 - £52,000 plus on-call bonus, annual bonus, overtime at 1.5 times weekdays and double time Sundays
• Standby rota 1 in 3 weeks with a weekly standby payment of £350

The Person

• Electrical Engineer from a manufacturing or process industries background
• Leadership experience
