We are seeking a Technician to join a busy maintenance depot in Derby, supporting the servicing, fault finding, repair, and reliability improvement of modern rolling stock. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled electrical technician looking for a long-term contract with strong earning potential. Key Responsibilities * Lead complex fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on rolling stock assets. * Support planned and reactive maintenance activities. * Identify and rectify electrical defects. * Produce technical scopes of work and support reliability improvements. * Provide technical support during service failures and depot operations. * Maintain accurate maintenance records using SAP and other maintenance systems. * Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. What We're Looking For * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification) * Experience working in maintenance, overhaul, modification or production environments * Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * Experience using maintenance management systems. * Experience of working a 24/7 shift roster * Excellent safety awareness within a regulated engineering environment. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
