Lead Estimator

Lead Estimator - 95% office based. A leading international engineering business is seeking a talented Lead Estimator (Pipework) to join their growing UK-based team. This is your opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-impact estimates, quotations, and proposals for bespoke pipework systems - both loose product supply and prefabricated solutions - across a wide range of industries.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead on Technical Estimating Tasks
- Manage the flow of enquiries for estimates, take-offs, and technical drawing requests
- Produce accurate, competitive quotes and supporting technical documentation
- Support Sales and Customers
- Provide guidance and support to internal sales teams and end customers
- Use CAD and design tools to create concept designs and material take-offs
- Work with various pipework materials and systems to meet client specifications
- Liaise with design engineers, sales managers, contractors, and suppliers
- Reach out to global resources when required to meet proposal deadlines

What We're Looking For
- Experience in engineering / construction design is essential, pipework experience would be highly desirable.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to create competitive proposals
- Proficiency in engineering software and CAD tools for design and take-offs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritise and self-manage
- A collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail and technical accuracy

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, permanent days.
