The role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of a complex digital platform, shaping APIs, integrations and user\u2011facing components that directly enable new propositions and end\u2011to\u2011end customer journeys.\n\n## What you will do\n\n * Design, build and maintain cloud\u2011native backend and frontend components, including APIs, microservices, integrations and digital interfaces.\n * Deliver end\u2011to\u2011end digital capabilities with a strong focus on performance, stability, security and maintainability.\n * Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Technical Leads and Architects to refine requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.\n * Apply modern engineering practices such as AI-SDLC, event\u2011driven design, microservices architecture, containerisation and infrastructure\u2011as\u2011code.\n * Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability and operational readiness to enable reliable and frequent deployments.\n * Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, estimation activities and agile ceremonies.\n * Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues, contributing to continuous improvement of services and development practices.\n * Provide guidance to junior developers or partner engineering teams when required, fostering a collaborative and high\u2011performance engineering culture.\n\n\n\n## Who you are\n\n * An experienced software engineer / full\u2011stack developer with over 7 years of hands\u2011on experience, bringing strong expertise in cloud\u2011native application development.\n\n * Comfortable working across modern programming languages such as Java(highly preferred), Node.js and React, with exposure to Python considered beneficial.\n * Knowledgeable in microservices, API design, event streaming technologies (for example Kafka), serverless patterns and container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.Familiar with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.\n * Experienced in agile delivery environments, using CI/CD, automated testing, trunk\u2011based development and continuous improvement practices.\n * Able to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with cross\u2011functional stakeholders.\n * Proactive in identifying risks, simplification opportunities and quality improvements.\n * Holds a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience, with significant industry experience in software development.\n\n\n\n## Not a Perfect Fit?\n\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
