MERITUS are working with a growing Systems Integration Consultancy based in Staffordshire, they're looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join their energy division working on the design, build & management of OT & IT Infrastructure.

As an Operational Technology Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of secure control systems within an OT environment. You will work on a range of innovative projects, providing subject matter expertise in Windows Server, network architecture, and virtualisation technologies, with a key focus on cyber security compliance and robust system design.

They're based in Stone, Staffordshire & operate a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office & 2 days remote per week.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure OT system architectures, including hardware and network specifications
• Configure Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy in line with industry standards
• Build and maintain virtualised environments using VMWare or Hyper-V platforms
• Collaborate with internal cyber security teams to deliver systems aligned to IEC 62443 standards
• Support testing activities including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and customer handover

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in OT or industrial control system environments
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and domain administration
• Proven expertise in network switch and firewall configuration
• Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMWare or Hyper-V
• Background in delivering cyber-secure systems aligned with industry standards
