Lead Maintenance Assistant

Full Time - 39 Hours Per Week.  Rate £13.72 per hour.

As a Lead Maintenance Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Undertake Daily Supervision of Maintenance Team. Lead by example and motivate your team to strive for excellence in all maintenance operations.
• Implementation of Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with all company statutory and legal requirements, including fire, health and safety, hygiene, and local by-laws.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, work closely with the housekeeping team to prioritise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Prompt Response to Enquiries: Address all maintenance enquiries promptly and effectively.
• Conduct Maintenance Repair Work: Undertake maintenance repairs with strict adherence to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Maintain Green Areas and Car Parks: When applicable, ensure these areas are well-maintained and presentable.
• Follow and implement planned preventative maintenance programs to prevent issues before they arise.
• Cultivate Relationships to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers and contractors.
• Implement Energy Conservation Initiatives aimed at conserving energy and reducing waste.
• Adhere to C.O.S.H.H Regulations regarding the storage and handling of hazardous substances.
• Assist in the training and development of the maintenance team to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency.

• Excellent Grooming Standards and maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Preferred Experience 

While not mandatory, the following will be advantageous:

• Previous maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, or painting and decorating.
• Possession of any qualifications relevant to the role is beneficial.
