Lead Market Data Developer - Fourier

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full life-cycle market data development projects: from gathering requirements, designing solutions, to building and delivering data parsing and distribution services.
• Develop and enhance data parsers and processing mechanisms according to a standardised data model for consumption and distribution.
• Ensure ETL coding standards are met, producing self-documenting, testable, and reliable code.
• Lead a team of market data professionals, guiding project delivery and mentoring team members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for market data-related projects and initiatives.
• Provide second-line support for daily parsing, assessments, and delivery processes for market data.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and external data providers to integrate data from various sources, including financial exchanges and RPAs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of market data processes, from onboarding to delivery to end users.
• Experience designing and developing market data systems within data management frameworks.
• Proven ability to deliver data applications and services that automate business processes, with a focus on meeting user requirements and maintaining high quality.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing best practices, and experience with EOD and tick data.
• Familiarity with various schema structures, design principles, and deployment/automation workflows.
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and Databricks deployment is a plus.
