Lead Plumber

Typically, this person will be responsible for assembling ABS & PVC-U pipework on water treatment machines for industrial applications. This role will also include leading a 3-man team of plumbers, to plumb and fit valves/pressure gauges/flow metres/pumps etc on large industrial water treatment machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong assembly skills, an eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and efficiency.

• Interpretation of engineering drawings
• Knowledge of valves, pressure gauges, flow metres and pumps
• Accurate plumbing of pipework and auxiliaries to P&ID (drawings)
• Focus on detail and precision for optimal performance
• Ensure quality and safety throughout the process
• Motivated and able to use initiative
• Strong problem-solving skills

Requirements for Lead Plumber:

• Plumbing experience, specifically with ABS/PVC-U using ABS/PVC-U cement
• Experience with water softening or reverse osmosis desirable
• Able to lead a team of plumbers to ensure deadlines are met
• Enjoy working in a busy environment
