  • Annual Salary: £27,334 - £33,406 (Actual: £25,430 - £31,078)
  • Location: Headington, Oxfordshire
  • Job Type: Permanent

Join this amazing Academy and play an essential role as a Lead Practitioner for Pupil Safeguarding, Behaviour and Wellbeing. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies to enhance pupil safeguarding, behaviour, and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with staff, pupils, and parents to foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour management and wellbeing strategies.
  • Provide training and support to staff on safeguarding practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for all pupils.
  • Lead initiatives that contribute to the school’s objectives of creating a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of safeguarding, student behaviour and wellbeing in an educational setting.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices and policies.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
