We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and highly motivated Lead Practitioner of Mathematics to join our successful and ambitious Mathematics faculty from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding classroom practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning and has the expertise to drive excellence in Mathematics across the Academy. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving student outcomes, developing outstanding teaching practice, and supporting colleagues to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
As a Lead Practitioner, you will work alongside middle and senior leaders to champion evidence-informed practice, model exceptional teaching, coach colleagues, and contribute to whole-school improvement. You will be committed to ensuring that all students, regardless of background or starting point, achieve their full potential in Mathematics.
We are looking for a candidate who:
Is an outstanding Mathematics teacher with a proven record of securing excellent student outcomes. Has a deep understanding of effective pedagogy and curriculum design. Demonstrates a passion for professional development and improving teaching and learning. Has the ability to coach, mentor and inspire colleagues across the school. Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Shares our commitment to high expectations, inclusion and academic excellence. The successful candidate will:
Model outstanding classroom practice. Lead professional development activities within Mathematics and across the wider school. Support the implementation of evidence-informed teaching strategies. Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards and improve outcomes. Contribute to the strategic development of teaching and learning across the Academy. We offer:
