Bexhill-on-Sea | Up to £70,000 per annum
Full-time | Permanent
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-regarded mental health service provider, for a Lead Psychologist to join their clinical team at a specialist facility in Bexhill-on-Sea.
About the Role As the Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality psychological services within a multidisciplinary team. This is a pivotal leadership role, where you will contribute to the ongoing development of therapeutic approaches, support complex case formulation, and ensure that psychological practice is embedded across the service.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership to a team of psychologists and therapists.
  • Deliver and supervise a range of evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions.
  • Contribute to service planning, development, and quality improvement.
  • Offer expert consultation and guidance to colleagues across disciplines.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical governance and ensure compliance with professional regulations.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent).
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Significant experience in mental health services, including leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Skilled in working with complex mental health presentations within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
