What you'll be doing
Own and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Investigate quality issues, customer complaints and NCRs using 8D and root cause analysis. Develop and maintain PFMEAs, PPAPs and Control Plans. Work closely with Engineering, Production and Suppliers to improve quality and reduce defects. Carry out internal and supplier audits. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.Why join?

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys getting out onto the shop floor, working collaboratively with engineering teams and finding practical solutions to manufacturing challenges.
Experience in a Quality Engineering position within a mechanical manufacturing environment. HNC (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Experience producing and maintaining PFMEAs, PPAPs and Control Plans. Practical experience using 8D, Six Sigma or other structured problem-solving methodologies. Experience of supplier quality management and internal auditing. Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with customers, suppliers and colleagues at every level. A proactive mindset with a genuine passion for continuous improvement.
