Insurance Lead Sector Architect - Senior Manager
Location: UK (SC eligible)
Salary: Up to £120,000 DOE

We are seeking an Insurance Lead Sector Architect to drive technology and architectural strategies across complex insurance transformations. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, including C-suite and operational leaders, to deliver innovative end-to-end solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect innovative end-to-end solutions spanning multiple technologies and design roadmaps for transformational change.
Collaborate with clients in the insurance sector to bring external perspectives and accelerate adoption of emerging technologies.
Mentor and guide multidisciplinary teams of architects to build sector capability and drive continuous innovation.
Provide technical oversight across multiple projects/programmes to ensure delivery aligns with architectural vision.
Shape and advance insurance technology and architectural reference assets to remain at the cutting edge.
Implement advanced architectural and technological strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Experience & Skills Required:

Deep expertise in insurance sector business and technology architecture.
Proven ability to design, solution, and implement tech-enabled business platforms for Tier 1 insurance clients.
Strong end-to-end solution architecture and enterprise architecture experience.
Leadership experience guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex solutions.
Familiarity with the insurance vendor landscape and leading certifications (e.g., TOGAF, key vendor technologies, agile methodologies such as SAFe).
Industry-specific certifications are advantageous (e.g., Guidewire Certified Specialist, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud).
Knowledge of insurance-relevant regulations, including Solvency UK and FCA Consumer Duty.
Solid understanding of cloud, data, and AI technologies and their application in the insurance sector.
Experience supporting business development alongside client delivery and practice expansion.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to engage C-suite through operational teams.
