Contract Software Development Lead - React, .NET, Azure - Financial Services - London / South East - 6+ Months

We’re hiring for a Software Development Lead on a 6+ month contract basis, working with a leading client in the financial services sector. This is a hybrid role, with occasional on-site meetings in the City of London, so candidates should be based in the South East of England and able to commute to London when required.

To be considered, you must have strong, recent hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Leading small software development teams

• Front-end development with React and JavaScript

• Microsoft Azure cloud platform (not AWS or GCP)

• .NET backend development

• Event-driven architecture and event sourcing

• Experience in or exposure to the financial services industry (highly beneficial)

• Location: South East England

• Duration: Initial 6-month contract (with potential extension)

• Visa Sponsorship: Not available

• Eligibility: Applicants must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of London
