Role Description
Kantar Media is a global leader in media research. This includes audience measurement - reporting all viewing on all platforms, consumer profiling and targeting with TGI, and in-depth advertising intelligence. Our versatility, scale, technology, and expertise enable our teams to understand the changing media landscape and drive growth for our clients.

Kantar Media is seeking a Lead Software Developer who is looking to take on more of a management role, with at least 5 years experience. Working closely with the Technical Lead Director, your responsibilities will be the following:

Role Responsibilities:
Support the development team in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of Data Integration application
Overseeing all the activities of the software development team and set goals for each team member to ensure timely project delivery.
Keep up to date with the latest development software.
Hire and train new developers.
Provide mentorship to the team and ensure they enforce to development standards.
Ensure adequate documentation exists.
Build alliance and work with other partner pillars within Kantar for a shared goal.
Support a team of 15-20 vendor team

Required
Essential:
Experience in the data processing applications
Practical production experience in software implementation
Experience working with high-level sophisticated problem definition using algorithms.
Good social skills
Experience working in a distributed team.
Background in software development or in a hands-on technical role

Desirable:
Spark data processing
Cloud technologies – Azure, DataBricks, Kubernetes
Software Architectural skills
DevOps
Agile / Scrum certified.
