Lead Test Engineer - Manchester - Hybrid

Harvey Nash are looking for Lead Test Engineer to join an Enterprise organisation in Manchester. We're looking for a Lead Test Engineer to join a high-performing technology team supporting critical systems across a complex, multi-site operation.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading a team of test engineers, mentoring and supporting their development.
• Owning the test automation framework and driving best practices across functional and non-functional testing.
• Managing test tooling, data, and execution across a portfolio of high-impact projects.
• Collaborating with architects, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded from the ground up.
• Representing the testing function in strategic discussions and helping shape the future of QA within the organisation.

What we're looking for:

• Strong experience in test automation (e.g. Cypress, Selenium, Appium) and API testing (e.g. Postman, Rest Assured).
• Solid understanding of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and agile delivery methods.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. AWS DevOps, Bitbucket, GitHub).
• A confident communicator and people leader, with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
• Bonus points for experience in regulated environments or large-scale infrastructure projects.
