Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Underwriter to join our client's high-performing team. This is a pivotal role responsible for managing a team of technical underwriters and data analysts, driving underwriting excellence, and delivering data-driven decisions that support their market-leading automotive insurance products.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, data science, statistics, or a related field.

A professional underwriting qualification (e.g., ACII) is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and techniques.

In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles and practices.

Preferred:

Knowledge and experience of Financial Systems Support (e.g., Access Dimensions) or ServiceNow Support and Administration.

Strong knowledge of using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
