About The Role

10:10 Games is looking for an experienced Lead Unreal Technical Sound Designer with Unreal Engine MetaSounds expertise. This is your opportunity to join and build upon an established team of sound designers to spearhead the creation of cutting-edge audio systems and immersive soundscapes within our upcoming titles. 

You will combine technical expertise and creative vision to design, implement and optimize interactive audio using Unreal Engines MetaSounds and other modern audio tools. You will lead our audio team in defining best practices and implementing modular systems to enhance the player experience. 

What You’ll Do

• Working along-side the Technical Director you will bridge the gap between engineering and sound design. Your role will be to lead the technical audio pipeline, developing audio systems leveraging Unreal Engine MetaSounds

• Collaborate with a cross-discipline team guiding both technical and non-technical disciplines through audio implementation best practices

• Own the audio implementation pipeline, building, optimizing and maintaining real-time systems

• Mentor sound designers aiding them with technical implementations

• Drive audio innovation within the studio by staying ahead of new tools, processes and best practices


• Build custom audio tools with UE Tech Audio Tools/Meta Sound Viewmodels

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional game audio experience

• Experience in a lead or above role with proven experience leading or mentoring a team of sound designers

• Proven Unreal Engine knowledge, with hands-on experience using MetaSounds

• Multiple shipped games, including Unreal Engine titles


• Proficiency in advanced profiling techniques to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve audio issues using the Insight profiler and other tools
