Lead Utility Surveyor

We’re working with a well-established surveying and infrastructure services provider with strong roots in the rail sector. Due to continued project wins across the North West, they are seeking a Lead Utility Surveyor to join their expanding team. While the company is rail-focused, prior rail experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver PAS 128 utility surveys across a range of sites
  




• Plan and manage on-site survey operations, ensuring data quality and safety compliance
  




• Work with EML and GPR equipment to map buried services accurately
  




• Oversee and mentor junior surveyors and technicians on site
  




• Liaise with clients and project managers to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met
  




• Assist with data processing, reporting, and QA/QC reviews
  




• Support integration of utility data into CAD and BIM environments
