Current clients include:University College LondonUniversity of PortsmouthAlzheimer’s SocietyOxfamProfessional Darts Corporation (PDC)Topdeck TravelVisit ValenciaWestminster City CouncilGreater London AuthorityRoyal Borough of Kensington and ChelseaGuy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation TrustUnited NationsOfstedYour remitAs a senior member of our multidisciplinary Experience team, you will help lead Zoocha’s strategic experience design work and UX consultancy offering.You’ll play a key role in helping discover, define and design experiences,ensuring our output is grounded in research, data and insights, and delivers ongoing value to our clients and their audiences.As well as working alongside other UX practitioners, you’ll also work very closely with our creative and UI design team, feeding into the strategy and design of a wide range of audience-centred digital products, services and experiences, from websites to native mobile apps and global design systems.ExpectationsThis is a hybrid working role, with the flexibility to work remotely some of the time, but with an expectation that you’ll be based at our Hertford at least two days per week. Some travel to clients is also expected. As a senior practitioner within the business, your work will be split between non-billable management, new business and internal projects, and billable work (including oversight) on client projects.Mandatory requirements:You MUST be based in the UK, ideally within regular commuting distance of our Hertford office, Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.You MUST have a VISA or work permit alreadyYou MUST NOT apply through a recruitment consultant as your application will be disregardedNO RECRUITERS PLEASEMust-have skills and experience:Minimum of 5 years’ agency experience, you’ll currently be in a senior UX design/ consultancy role and looking for your next step upExceptional UX design craft paired with a strategic, consultative mindsetPassionate about all things UX, and keen to share that passion in order to inspire the team - mentoring, coaching and leading them to reach their full potentialDeep practical experience of planning, conducting, analysing and presenting back of quantitative and qualitative research studiesSolid proficiency of analysing and interpreting data (e.g. GA4, Hotjar) and experience of conversion rate optimisation approaches and toolsSignificant experience creating UX/ CX deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, journey/ experience maps, user flows, personas, information architecture etc.Experienced creating user stories and product backlogsThe ability to turn insights into strategic recommendations, and help join the dots for clients through compelling narratives and storytellingStrong experience of designing and working with complex, global design systems, with a deep proficiency in Figma prototyping and testingGood understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines best practicesExperience of designing and facilitating workshopsSolid experience of designing native mobile apps (iOS and Android) and with a strong understanding of native mobile app design best practicesGood commercial awareness, helping ensure work is delivered on time within budgetA good understanding of creative and emerging technologies and how they can be applied to innovative and immersive experiencesAn exceptional communicator with the ability to explain complex concepts in plain English to people from other disciplines and backgroundsProven evidence/experience of:Collaboration and teamwork, especially across multi-disciplinary, diverse teamsBeing open to a range of opinions and able to see problems or situations from a variety of perspectivesCurious, open and with an eagerness to grow and learn from those around you, and having a clear understanding of your strengths and weaknessesBeing comfortable with ambiguity and uncertaintyNice-to-have experience:Ideally experience of working within GDS guidelines with a good knowledge of Government Digital Service standards and inclusive, accessible design for public sector clientsIdeally some experience of UX content design and content testingExperience of working with with Flutter for cross-platform app designLine management experience including personal development planning, performance management, coaching and mentoringWhy work at Zoocha?Flexible working plus the ability to work from any of our offices (UK, Spain, Brazil) for periods of timeOutstanding benefits including profit share, private healthcare, gym and wellness fundUnlimited training budgetAn inclusive workplace with active advocacy networks for women, LGBTQI employees and people from ethnic minoritiesSound like you?Get in touch information…….
