About the Role:

• Provide strong and visible leadership for Year 10, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.


• Develop and implement a clear vision and strategy for Year 10, aligned with the school's overall goals.


• Oversee the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment in Year 10.


• Foster a strong team spirit amongst Year 10 tutors and staff.


• Monitor and track student progress, identifying and supporting those who need extra help.


• Work closely with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and partnership.


• Contribute to the wider leadership team of the school.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified teacher with a minimum of 5 years' successful teaching experience, including significant leadership experience within a secondary school setting.


• A proven track record of raising standards and improving student outcomes.


• Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.


• Strong pastoral care skills and a genuine commitment to student well-being.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.


• The ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
