Lead/Senior Front End Developer - Remote

Our client is a market-leading startup. They are the only company currently able to provide a full AI-driven solution to their market. They are looking for a Senior/Lead Front End Developer to join their UK remote team.

Here are the requirements for a Senior/Lead Front End Developer.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and maintain software applications using React, React Native, and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications to ensure performance and reliability.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Build responsive and performant web applications.
• Manage and direct Senior Developers

Core Technical Skills Required:

• Strong experience with React and React Native (including hooks like useEffect, useState)
• Familiarity with TypeScript and strict typing for maintainable code
• Comfortable working with REST APIs Axios and fetch
• Experience with state management tools like Context API
• Strong experience with Optimisation (useMemo, useCallback)
• Knowledge of React Query
• Understanding of component-based architecture and clean code structure (e.g. Atomic Design)
• Testing experience with Vitest, React Testing Library, and optionally Cypress
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices
• Experience with form management (Formik)
• Familiar with Tailwind or other style libraries
• Exposure to Next.js or React Native
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes or modern frontend deployment workflows
• A bonus would be to have used 3js
