Overview
We are seeking a proactive and driven Change Agent / Operations Support professional to join a leading manufacturing environment. Working closely with Production Management teams, you will support and facilitate operational excellence initiatives, helping to drive continuous improvement and business transformation across the site.
This role focuses on embedding Lean principles, supporting process improvements, and coaching operational teams to enhance performance, quality, and efficiency. It offers an excellent opportunity to influence change within a highly established and complex manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities
Support the deployment and implementation of continuous improvement tools and methodologies. Coach and mentor Operations Managers and their teams in Lean thinking and best practice. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and waste elimination across business processes and governance activities. Promote a culture of operational excellence and support the delivery of improvement programmes. Analyse operational data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for business improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to support change initiatives. Facilitate problem-solving activities and improvement workshops. Contribute to the development and maintenance of performance standards and management routines. Skills & Experience Required
Strong understanding and practical application of Lean Manufacturing principles. Experience supporting continuous improvement and change management initiatives. Proven ability to coach, influence, and engage operational teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Ability to build effective relationships and manage stakeholder expectations. Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing priorities independently. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to integrate effectively into established teams. Confident and resilient, with the ability to challenge existing processes constructively. Innovative thinker with a proactive approach to driving efficiencies and improvements. Ability to work autonomously while recognising when escalation or support is required. Desirable
Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, automotive, or similarly regulated environment. Knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement techniques Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
