Job Description - Learning & Development Advisor

Learning & Development Advisor

Salary: £38,000-£40,000

Location: Leeds or Manchester (hybrid)

I'm delighted to be supporting a leading international professional services firm in their search for a Learning & Development Advisor to join their collaborative and innovative HR team.

This role sits within a well-established HR function that spans multiple international offices and covers all key areas of HR, including L&D, Reward, Resourcing, HR Operations, HR Business Partnering, CSR and Diversity. You'll be joining a team that is passionate about driving a culture of continuous development and delivering impactful, innovative learning across the organisation.

If you're looking for an opportunity where you can combine digital learning design with programme delivery and stakeholder engagement, this role offers fantastic variety and scope.

What you'll be doing:
  • Designing and creating engaging digital learning content using tools such as Adobe CC, Canva, Articulate 360, and AI platforms.

  • Supporting the coordination and delivery of career development programmes and strategic L&D projects across the firm.

  • Facilitating virtual and in-person learning sessions for individuals and teams.

  • Partnering with business areas to carry out learning needs analysis and shape tailored development solutions.

  • Keeping up to date with external L&D trends to ensure the firm's learning offering remains fresh, engaging, and impactful.

What we're looking for:
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and influence audiences.

  • Proven experience in designing digital learning content across a range of platforms.

  • Knowledge or experience of using AI in content creation.

  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted L&D partner.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with HR / learning systems.

  • (Desirable) Experience with psychometric tools such as Insights Discovery or Strengthscope, and/or exposure to Learning Management Systems.
