Learning & Development Lead

Learning & Development Lead | Up to £46,000 | Office-based

If you’re someone who enjoys seeing your ideas put into practice, not just talked about - this could be a great opportunity. This is a hands-on role with full responsibility for shaping and delivering L&D across a busy, people-focused business. The focus is on supporting the customer facing teams, with the autonomy to create a learning approach that genuinely works for them.

You’ll be working closely with the Operations Director, with the scope to influence the training strategy and help shape how development and performance improvement are approached across the business.

What’s involved?

• Designing and delivering learning across the full employee journey – from induction to ongoing development
• Creating a new style of training that fits the pace and priorities of the business
• Working directly with team managers to understand needs and tailor your approach
• A mix of delivery methods – 1:1 coaching, group workshops, refreshers, and compliance-led training
• Measuring the impact of your work using performance data and feedback
• Playing an active role in embedding a stronger learning culture

What we’re looking for:

• Experience designing and delivering a variety of training programmes
• Confidence delivering across different formats and to different levels of experience
• A practical understanding of compliance, performance standards and people development
• A clear and engaging delivery style
• Someone who’s comfortable in a fast-paced environment and happy to work independently

You’ll have the chance to develop a new learning framework from the ground up – this isn’t about tweaking existing content, but creating something fresh, relevant and impactful.
