Learning Support Assistant - SEN Support - Haringey

Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Haringey to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students with special educational needs (SEN) across KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD and moderate learning difficulties
* Support classroom learning, helping students access lesson content and remain engaged
* Work closely with the SENCo, teaching staff and external agencies to implement EHCP targets
* Use visual aids, scaffolding strategies and behaviour techniques to support student progress
* Contribute to reviews, planning meetings and regular tracking of student outcomes

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience supporting secondary-age students with additional needs
* A calm, patient and consistent approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and a willingness to develop skills through training
* A background in education, care, youth work or support services is highly desirable
