Learning Support Assistant - SEN Secondary School

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants to join our supportive SEN secondary school in St Helens. This is a full-time, permanent position, starting as soon as possible, where you'll play a vital role in helping young people with additional needs to thrive.

• Support secondary-aged students with a range of special educational needs, both in class and on a 1:1 basis.

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging, tailored lessons and activities.

• Encourage and guide pupils with their learning, behaviour and personal development.

• Help create a safe, positive and inclusive school environment for all learners.

We would love to hear from you if you are:

• Experienced in supporting young people, ideally within an SEN or school setting (but not essential).

• Patient, resilient and compassionate, with a genuine desire to make a difference.

• Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.

• Flexible, proactive and a great team player.
