Learning Support Assistant – Primary School

Location: Wickford, Basildon
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Days: Monday – Friday
Setting: Mixed Mainstream Primary School

We are currently looking for an experienced and caring Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in the Wickford area.

This is a five-day-per-week position, working from 8:30am to 3:30pm, supporting pupils within the school and providing additional support to children with SEND.

The ideal candidate will:

* Have previous experience working with children with additional needs

* Have experience supporting pupils with ASD

* Be confident working with pre-verbal children

* Have a calm, patient and caring approach

* Be flexible and professional within a school environment

* Communicate confidently with pupils and members of staff

* Be passionate about helping children reach their potential

* Be comfortable using ICT

* Contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment

The Role

You will work closely with teaching staff to provide consistent support to pupils, helping them engage with learning and access the curriculum while supporting their individual needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced LSA looking for a consistent, full-week position within a friendly and supportive primary school.
