We are looking for a confident, caring and resilient Learning Support Assistant with behaviour specialist experience to join a mainstream primary school in Gillingham.

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with behavioural, emotional and social needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

The Role

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional behavioural needs.
Use positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques to support emotional regulation.
Build trusting relationships and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to help pupils thrive.

The Ideal Candidate

Has experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, SEND or SEMH needs.
Is calm, patient, resilient and confident in managing difficult situations.
Can build positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries.
Is passionate about helping children succeed both academically and emotionally.
