Hays Education are partnering with a specialist education provider in Coventry seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support young people with additional learning needs. This is a hands-on role where you'll help students develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and achieve their individual goals.

Your new role

Provide classroom and individual learning support
Help students stay engaged and motivated throughout the day
Support emotional, social, and personal development
Assist with life skills, independence, and community-based activities
Work closely with teaching staff and specialist support teams
What you'll need to succeed

Previous childcare experience is essential
Experience in schools, nurseries, youth work, care settings, or support work is highly desirable
A patient, resilient, and positive attitude
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with additional needs
