A fantastic school in Headington are on the hunt for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team starting in September. Individuals who are looking for a role where they can gain valuable experience working whilst also benefiting from the added bonus of having a fulfilling job!

The opportunity as a Learning support assistant:

You will engage with and support learners who are struggling in the classroom with their course work.
Many of these children come from difficult backgrounds where they have struggled with stress, anxiety and learning difficulties. as you can imagine concentrating and staying focused can be extremely challenging
Your job will be to support these learners during the school day and help them stay on task
Not only will you be there for them academically, you will also support the students emotionally and help them process their emotions in a healthy wayThe successful Learning Support Assistant:

You should be passionate about making a difference and helping these children achieve their goals
You must be patient and proactive
You must have some experience working with children, either in a classroom or other capacity
You must have a valid DBS certificate or be willing to apply for oneIndividuals who are working towards a career in psychology, education or any other related field are most welcome to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working with vulnerable children.

Learning Support Assistant - Headington - Term time only - September Start

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
