We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a welcoming college environment supporting learners across both Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Mainstream Education.

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students across a range of subjects. Assist learners with SEN including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Dyslexia, SEMH, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and other additional learning needs. Support mainstream learners who require additional academic or pastoral assistance. Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences. Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour. Help students develop essential life, study, and employability skills. Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff. Promote safeguarding and student wellbeing at all times.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
Experience working with young people in an educational, care, youth work, or support setting. A passion for supporting students with additional learning needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong organisational and classroom support skills. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (desirable). Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Health & Social Care, or SEN (desirable but not essential).
