We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a highly regarded specialist provision supporting pupils aged 3-11 years with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

No two days are ever the same.

You may begin the morning supporting pupils through structured sensory-based routines, helping them settle into the day and prepare for learning.

Throughout the day you could be:

Supporting one-to-one or small-group learning activities.
Encouraging communication using visual supports, symbols or assistive technology.
Helping pupils develop independence and life skills.
Facilitating sensory activities designed around individual targets.
Supporting outdoor learning and community visits.
Assisting children to build friendships and social interaction skills.
Working closely with teachers, therapists and families to achieve meaningful outcomes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
