Teaching Assistant – Support, Inspire, Empower

Location: West Sussex
Contract: Full-Time
Salary: £92.63 - £99.45 per day

Supply Desk is seeking Teaching Assistants to support students across a range of educational settings throughout West Sussex. These opportunities may include working with learners who benefit from additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation, confidence, or engagement in their education.

You'll play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers, develop resilience, and achieve positive outcomes.

The Role

Supporting learning within classroom environments
Working with students on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Encouraging positive engagement and behaviour
Assisting teachers with lesson activities and classroom routines
Supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:

Experience working with children or young people
A background in education, care, youth work, coaching, mentoring, or support work
Excellent communication skills
A positive and proactive attitude
The resilience to thrive in varied educational settings

To be considered for a higher rate, in addition to meeting the minimum criteria, you must be able to demonstrate additional experience, training, and if applicable, qualifications. This role complies with AWR (2010) regulations protecting agency workers’ rights. Please note that this job expires after 90 days-you can, however, still apply to be considered for similar roles
