Commercial Property Solicitor – Leasehold Enfranchisement Specialist (3+ PQE)
Based in East Kent | Full-time | Hybrid working | Real Estate Team

Are you an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with specialist knowledge in leasehold enfranchisement? A highly reputable firm is creating a brand new role that offers the chance to truly shape your future.

This is not a role for a newly qualified solicitor. The firm is seeking a confident and capable professional with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE to take on a split caseload of commercial real estate and leasehold enfranchisement work. The current Commercial Property lead is working towards retirement, offering a clear succession plan for the right person to become the firm’s go-to specialist in this area.
The role covers:

• Leasehold enfranchisement
• Lease extensions and long lease work
• Service and management charge disputes (working closely with the Litigation team)
• Freehold acquisitions and disposals
• General commercial property transactions

You’ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team where your expertise is genuinely valued. Working alongside experienced enfranchisement practitioners, you’ll have the opportunity to grow into a central figure within the firm’s real estate offering.

• A minimum of 3 years' PQE in commercial property
• Detailed, specialist knowledge of leasehold enfranchisement and long lease work
• Experience with service charge disputes and tribunal/court processes
• Strong communication and organisational skills
