Lecturer - Electrical and Electronic Engineering

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering to join our client's successful team at the School of Technical Apprenticeships. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about shaping the future of apprentices in the electrical and electronic engineering fields.

• Teach across a variety of courses including Level 2 Foundation Competence, Level 3 Development Knowledge (BTEC/Technical Certificate), and Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualifications.
• Deliver technical subjects such as PLC, Designing and Testing Electronics Circuits, and Control and Computer Engineering including embedded systems, Automation, and Control Systems.
• Engage and motivate young learners aged 16-19 through effective teaching practices.
• Travel off-site to employers’ premises in the local area as required to meet educational and training objectives.

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related area.
• Some teaching, training, or assessing experience in the subject area.
• Knowledge and experience in Electrical Principles CAD- Fluid Sim/MultiSIM.
• Practical experience in an electrical/electronic engineering workshop, including wiring and testing equipment.
• Ability to deliver a range of technical subjects effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
