• Lecturer in Computing - Security Specialism
• Location: West London
• Salary: up to £45,260 per annum including London Weighting
• Job Type: Full-time

Day-to-day of the role of a Computing Lecturer :

• Deliver a range of Computing courses, focusing on Security, across BTEC programmes Level 2 - 5.
• Utilise your expertise in Virtual Box (or equivalent), Operating Systems Configuration (Windows and Linux), and IT Security or IT Systems Support to enhance the learning experience.
• Engage and motivate young learners aged 16-19 through effective teaching practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum and teaching resources.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the post:

• Degree in a Computing subject.
• Some teaching experience, preferably including delivery of BTEC programmes.
• Knowledge and experience in Virtual Box (or equivalent), Operating Systems Configuration (Windows and Linux), and IT Security or IT Systems Support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with young learners.
• Willingness to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, if not already possessed (support provided by the College).
