Lecturer in Health and Social Care - Clinical Nursing
  • Location: West London
  • Salary: £12,982 to £18,104 (Actual salary for 14.4 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
  • Job Type: Part-time, Fixed Term until 30.06.26

We are seeking a part-time Lecturer with a specialism in Clinical Nursing to join our dynamic Health and Social Care Section at the School of Health & Social Care and Creative Arts. This role involves teaching a range of qualifications to primarily 16-19-year-old learners, preparing them for careers in the health and social care sector. There is a possibility that this post may become permanent.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach across various qualifications including the Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health and Science, and BTEC RQF Health and Social Care Levels 1-4 and Access to Health and Human Science.
  • Engage and inspire students in the subject matter while using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
  • Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure the content is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess a degree in Nursing.
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with current or recent clinical experience in the health/social care sector.
  • Experience in teaching or training is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students and foster a positive learning environment.
