Foundation Learning Lecturer – Full-Time, Permanent
Location - Northampton

Salary: £27,238.00 – £33,487.00 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you passionate about supporting learners with additional needs? We are looking for a dedicated Foundation Learning Lecturer to join a supportive and dynamic team in a full-time, permanent role.
You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality teaching and training, designing tailored support programmes, and supervising Learning Support Assistants to ensure learners thrive in an inclusive, engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and assess teaching to Foundation Learning students in a variety of settings
• Design and implement effective support programmes and learning materials
• Supervise and support a team of Learning Support Assistants
• Conduct initial assessments to identify individual support needs
• Monitor student progress and adapt learning plans accordingly
• Arrange suitable additional support for examinations and assessments

What We’re Looking For:

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
• Relevant teaching or support qualifications and/or experience
• Proven experience working with learners with additional needs
• Experience working with post-16 learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to continued professional development (CPD)
• Classroom experience that demonstrates the ability to inspire and motivate students
• Experience or qualifications related to working with animals is desirable
