Job Description - Legal Advisor

Legal Advisor

Location: Cardiff
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week, 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
Start Date: ASAP

Build your legal career in a role where your work has a
direct impact: join our specialist Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team as a Legal Advisor, managing your own caseload while supporting clients
through complex and often sensitive matters.

Beyond progressing cases, you will act as a trusted point of
contact, offering clients clear guidance throughout the legal process.
Alongside knowledgeable colleagues, you will build your technical skills,
broaden your understanding and take an active role in achieving positive
outcomes. From progressing files and strengthening team efficiency to upholding
rigorous standards of client care and compliance, your contribution will be
central to the team’s success.

Redkite Solicitors has been trusted to provide exceptional
legal advice to individuals, families, and businesses since 1898. As a
progressive, full-service law firm, we’re driven by growth and innovation,
continuously expanding our reach to meet the diverse needs of our clients. With
nearly 300 dedicated professionals, we’re proud to be recognised as an employer
of choice,
with a number of our lawyers recognised in both Legal 500 and
Chambers
, reflecting the strength and quality of our expertise. Our ongoing
commitment to excellence and expansion ensures Redkite remains at the forefront
of the legal sector.

Candidates should be aware that their first
day of employment may be based at an alternative Redkite office within our
Pembrokeshire to Gloucestershire network, for group onboarding. A willingness
to travel and spend the day away from your usual place of work is therefore
required.

What will you be doing?
  • Step into a
junior fee-earning role where you’ll take ownership of your own caseload,
growing your independence while helping the team achieve meaningful results for
    our clients.

  • Work
hand-in-hand with our Solicitors to keep cases moving, ensuring clients feel
supported, informed, and reassured every step of the way.

  • Balance
precision and empathy as you draft clear legal correspondence, carry out
focused research, keep our systems updated, and speak directly with clients to
    build trust and understanding.

  • Be the warm,
professional first point of contact for some new enquiries – listening
carefully, asking the right questions, and capturing the details that truly
    matter.

  • Gain
valuable hands-on experience across the full journey of a case, from requesting
medical records and preparing court bundles to taking witness statements when
    needed.

Requirements

Who We’re
Looking For:

  • Ideally
some experience in Personal Injury work.

  • An
organised, adaptable professional who can manage changing priorities without
    losing sight of the details.

  • Confident
with technology, especially Microsoft Office, and quick to learn new
    systems.

  • Proactive,
dependable, and ready to contribute from day one.

  • Calm
under pressure, able to meet deadlines while maintaining care and
    accuracy.

  • A
supportive team player who shares our commitment to delivering outstanding
client care with compassion and integrity.
