Legal Assistant

Role: Legal Assistant

Location: Fareham (Office Based)

Salary: £24k per annum

Hours: Ful Time (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist conveyancers with the management of residential property transactions from instruction to completion.
• Prepare and draft legal documents and correspondence.
• Conduct property searches and compile reports.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors to ensure smooth communication and transaction progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
• Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team.

Requirements:

• A keen interest in property law.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous experience in a legal or administrative role is advantageous but not essential.
