We're working with a well-regarded law firm in Cardiff looking to add a Legal Assistant to their Secured Lending department. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid admin experience in a legal setting who wants to develop their career.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting the Secured Lending team with day-to-day admin tasks Conducting HM Land Registry searches and advising clients on property ownership, identifying existing charges, restrictions and other interests which may affect the property. Uploading mortgage documents to a third-party e-signing platform. Carrying out final checks and HMLR searches in order to prepare files for completion. Dealing with registrations of charge and post-completion matters, including but not limited to HMLR applications and responding to requisitions raised in respect of such applications. Assisting other team members with overflow work when required, including general administrative tasks.What you'll need:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Experience using a case management system Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A confident, approachable manner with clients Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
