Description

• A sound knowledge of the SAR rules is required.
• Processing invoices both sales and purchase
• Checking completion statements/posting and paying them
• Process receipts, payments and transfers for client accounts
• Daily preparation and processing of payments/authorisation checks.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Proclaim and Excel
• Preparing all client to office daily transfers, and checking all entries.
• Posting of money received and paid in accordance with SAR.
• Client bank reconciliations
• Reviewing residual balances quarterly.
• Closing accounts and dealing with write offs.
• Dealing with queries

Profile

A successful Legal Cashier should have:

• Previous experience in a similar role within professional services.
• Solid understanding of SRA accounts rules and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong numeracy skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
