Legal Cashier

Our client, a highly regarded London law firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join its Finance team on a permanent basis.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Cashier to join the firm's established Finance team in a broad and varied role.

Key responsibilities will include:

Allocating and posting client funds received through online banking
Processing client-to-client transfers
Investigating and allocating funds received against bills
Processing client account payments via online banking and cheque
Taking client card payments and processing transactions through the online terminal
Completing manual and automated interest calculations
Processing foreign currency transactions
Responding to ad hoc queries from Partners, Associates, Secretaries and PAs
Liaising directly with banks and resolving transactional queries
Opening, closing and maintaining joint accounts
Supporting cashiering transactions across the firm's London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai offices
Ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with relevant regulatory requirementsRequirements

The successful candidate will have solid legal cashiering experience gained within a law firm environment, alongside a strong working knowledge of the SRA Accounts RulesVacancy Highlights
