As a Legal Cashier, you’ll play a key role in making sure everything financial behind the scenes runs just as it should. That means processing payments (including BACS, Faster Payments, and foreign currency transfers), managing client and office transactions, and staying on top of compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules. You’ll be calculating interest, handling cheques, supporting billing, and generally making sure everything is recorded clearly and accurately. 

Ideally you'll have 4 - 5 years’ experience in legal cashiering, confident using systems like Excel and Outlook, and a solid understanding of VAT rules. The Finance team works closely with lawyers, partners, and other teams across the firm. They use up-to-date software, share knowledge freely, and support one another. There’s also a strong emphasis on flexibility.
