Legal Cashier/Accounts Assistant

Morgan McKinley is proud to be partnering with a standout law firm in Exeter to recruit a Legal Cashier for their accomplished Finance team.

In this role, you'll be a key part of a collaborative, inclusive, and modern workplace that embraces change and innovation. You'll handle everything from processing payments and reconciliations to ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules - all while supporting fee earners and clients with top-tier financial service.

• Managing client and office account transactions (cheques, BACS, TT, foreign transfers, etc.)

• Ensuring compliance with SAR and VAT rules

• Calculating and recording client interest

• Supporting billing processes and fee earner queries

• Collaborating with colleagues across departments to support smooth financial operations

• Experience in legal cashiering or similar finance support role (with a legal background)

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounts software

• Strong communicator and natural team player
