Legal Coordinator - Minors, Immigration and Diligence EMEA

Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.\n\nNetflix is seeking a Coordinator to be part of the Minors, Immigration, and Diligence team (MInD). MInD advises on and oversees compliance globally for productions and PR/marketing activities with respect to immigration requirements, child labour laws, and diligence processes (background checks on crew working with minors and \u201ccontributor/participant care\u201d checks and processes).\n\nThe successful candidate will ideally have prior experience in a legal and/or entertainment setting, be self-motivated, highly-organised, with strong time-management skills, able to juggle and prioritise multiple diverse responsibilities while maintaining excellent attention to detail. This is a demanding and fast-paced role that requires curiosity and significant initiative. \n\n## Your Responsibilities:\n\n * Providing administrative and research support to lawyers across the MInD legal team in EMEA.\n\n * Leading on document management for the team\n\n * Creating and maintaining various trackers/spreadsheets in relation to the team\u2019s functions (minors, immigration and diligence)\n\n * Organising and maintaining the team\u2019s knowledge base across the team\u2019s functions including precedents and templates.\n\n * Managing vendor invoices, including assisting with new vendor set-up in the legal tracker system and routing invoices to appropriate cost centres.\n\n * Preparing legal documents for signature and the coordination of signatures (e.g. immigration petitions, deal memos etc).\n\n * Supporting the MInD team with legal research regarding immigration and child labour requirements globally.\n\n * Preliminary review of background checks and psychological evaluations for show participants and crew.\n\n * Leveraging new technology, including artificial intelligence, to optimize the team\u2019s organization and performance. \n\n * Maintaining flexibility and openness to take on additional projects as necessary or assigned.\n\n\n\n\n## To be successful:\n\n * 3 + years work experience, preferably (but not essential) in a legal field (especially those with a focus in immigration and/or entertainment) or at a studio, network, broadcaster or production company. \n\n * You are a team player with excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.\n\n * You are resourceful and proactive with a can-do attitude and continually strive for organizational efficiency through innovation. \n\n * You respond positively to change and are respectful of new ideas.\n\n * You have a proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems.\n\n * You pay strong attention to detail and work well with changing information.\n\n * Your communication is effective and concise, supported by strong interpersonal skills.\n\n * You exercise great judgement and can articulate sound reasoning for your decisions.\n\n\n\n\nYou understand, advocate, and embody the Netflix culture and team goals: https://jobs.netflix.com/culture\n\nInclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates.
