The Role:

As a Legal Cost Advisor you will be managing your own caseload of files with a focus on defendant cost files. You will be managing all aspects of cost case management as part of a leading global law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of Defendant and Claimant costs files
• Drafting Points of Disputes and Replies to Cost claims
• Drafting bills of costs and schedules of Costs
• Negotiating costs offers and settlements and advising on cost claims
• Preparing costs budgets and discussion reports

About you:

• You should have at least two years of experience in budgeting, negotiation and drafting of Defendant & Claimant costs files
• You should have experience in insurance sector costs to include RTA, EL/PL, Industrial Disease and Clinical Negligence
• You should have strong knowledge of the Fixed Recoverable Costs regime
