Legal Counsel

Leading industrial business based in Birmingham but with national/European operations is looking to recruit a legal counsel 3+ to join the small, nimble legal and compliance team.

Reporting to a hugely personable, supportive and pragmatic Head of Legal (I know this as I placed them), you will be given a platform to really develop your in-house career and profile, gaining exposure to a range of strategic and operational activities in a friendly environment.

Ideally with 3/4+ year PQE the legal counsel will advise the business and exec team on

- The full range of commercial contract matters
- regulatory and compliance
- M&A as it arises
- IP/Trademarks
- Deliver training
- Manage external counsel
- Drive process change, legal tech projects

You will need to have at least 3+ years experienced gained in-house or as a commercial lawyer, be able to work autonomously and be a strong communicator with a flexible, tactful approach to problem-solving

The team is very well regarded, pro-active and a true business partner. The Head of Legal an ideal mentor and coach helping you get to know the sector, complexities and industry.

Salary 65-80k plus benefits

Birmingham city centre 3 days pw
