An exceptional opportunity is available to oversee and guide a team at a top-tier global law firm, situated in esteemed offices in Nottingham.

Practice Assistant – Nottingham - Up to £33,000 (DOE)

An international multi-award-winning law firm is currently seeking an experienced office administrator, preferably from a professional or regulated setting, with a track record in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate must have managed small teams, be open to travel, and possess familiarity with various software.

The ideal candidate demonstrates proactive problem-solving, independence, and strong relationship-building abilities. Attention to detail, teamwork, confidentiality, and familiarity with asset management databases are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary contact for fee earners and manage the completion of their work
- Oversee workflow management by utilizing Team Assistants and Shared Services, ensuring task ownership and accountability
- Provide comprehensive client relationship management, including handling client queries and managing document production
- Support fee earners with business development activities and manage CRM to ensure key client contacts are updated
- Organise internal and external events, seminars, and conferences
- Manage diaries, travel arrangements, and meeting schedules
- Produce and maintain Excel spreadsheets and various administrative tasks
- Assist in tender processes and prepare internal sector newsletters and briefings
- Manage financial processes including billing, credit control, and expenses
- Ensure compliance with firm-wide policies and procedures
